Contract Implementation Coordinator

About the Role

MagnaCare is seeking Contract Implementation Coordinators to ensure accurate setup and implementation of provider contracts and amendments.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support Network Operations and/or Network Management in all aspects of rate sheet development and implementation.
  • Coordinate appropriate contract configuration with internal partners for initial network setup and ongoing network maintenance.
  • Maintain implementation tracker and perform ad hoc reporting.
  • Develop and maintain implementation overview documents for contract configuration of all provider agreements and amendments.
  • Maintain Network Repository containing various reporting elements, including but not limited to hospital demographics, covered products, key contract terms, etc. 
  • Liaise between Network Operations and internal departments on escalated network issues and other provider issues needing resolution. 
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of provider arrangements to confirm contracts are implemented appropriately and claims will process as expected. 
  • Support Network Management Team when required for any projects, escalated issues, etc.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations through daily job functions.

Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of managed care equivalent experience, preferably in a Network Operations or Contract Implementation role.
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry, such as products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of claim processing, such as CPT Codes, HCPCS Codes, ICD-10 Codes, etc. 
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple complex issues simultaneously. 
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure. 
  • Works well independently and as a team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
