Trainer

About the Role
 
MagnaCare is seeking experienced Trainers to develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge of claims processing, eligibility, customer service, and Labor fund policies.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create training modules, end-user materials, and training guides.
  • Create and maintain training modules for including enhancements, products, and web-based applications.
  • Employ a variety of channels to encourage and provide effective learning including instructor-led classrooms, role-playing, train-the-trainer methods, and eLearning programs.
  • Identify learning opportunities alongside management to close knowledge or performance gaps.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training through performance indicators. 
  • Provide post-training followups, surveys, and monthly knowledge checks.
  • Comply with all guidelines established by regulatory agencies, where applicable, and defined department policies including other duties assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.
  • Work with SMEs to document and standardize workflows.
  • Attend client, participant, vendor, provider or employer meetings when necessary to meet client needs.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in training, instructional design, education, or human resources management, or experience as a trainer in a Labor environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of training experience required.
  • Training and documentation design in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of operations departments, such as claims, customer service, provider relations, and quality preferred.
  • Experience with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and/or health insurance carriers preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and produce high-quality materials.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time and meet targeted completion dates.
  • Experience and proficiency in leading both web-based and onsite training for remote staff.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Must be able to manage tasks effectively.
  • Experience with creating training curriculums, training calendars, end-user documentation, training guides, and other materials required for training.
