About the Role MagnaCare is seeking experienced Employer Services Representatives to remotely manage eligibility processing and facilitate clear communication among participants, employers, and other key stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
Onboard new employers to the Employer Services Create Portal, provide training, and ensure retraining for system updates.
Create, audit, and update member profiles in the enrollment database, ensuring timely and accurate eligibility processing.
Enter and verify employer hour demographics for eligibility and payroll, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams, providing ongoing support and guidance.
Investigate and resolve employer inquiries, identify process gaps, and conduct quality control checks for payroll and employment data.
Contact employers regarding delinquencies and late file submissions.
Reconcile eligibility discrepancies, analyze enrollment data, and assist with retroactive eligibility changes.
Troubleshoot enrollment and eligibility issues for employers and customer service representatives, providing timely solutions.
Handle escalated member related/employer concerns and complaints.
Work directly with the Finance team to review, process, and resolve inquiries.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred, or high school diploma/GED with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in system/database management and data analysis; preferred experience in self-service systems, payroll processing, and managed care eligibility.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience working in and supporting Employer Self-Service contribution modules.
Salesforce experience preferred.
Moderate proficiency with Windows PC applications and complex systems.
Familiarity with Taft-Hartley Funds, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, LOAs, QLE, PTO regulations, and Medicare/Medicaid Benefits.
Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
