Enrollment Clerk (Onsite)

This role is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining member enrollment, eligibility, and contribution data across multiple systems while ensuring timely documentation and recordkeeping. Working onsite, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to identify data discrepancies, and a commitment to supporting both internal teams and the overall integrity of member records. This is a bargaining unit position represented by POPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input member enrollment forms, address changes, and dependent data into the eligibility system​​​​​​​
  • Enter employer-reported work hours into eligibility and contribution systems  
  • 2000 Hour process
  • Accurately input member enrollment forms, address changes, and dependent data into the eligibility system
  • Identify and flag data discrepancies for review by senior staff or auditors
  • Maintain timely and complete documentation of all transactions
  • File and scan enrollment documents and employer files as needed
  • Respond to basic internal inquiries regarding processed items

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree or some college coursework in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field a plus​​​​​​​
  • 1–2 years of data entry, administrative, or clerical experience required
  • Experience in a healthcare, benefits administration, or insurance environment preferred
  • Familiarity with eligibility, enrollment, or contributions processing a plus
  • Experience working with union or labor fund environments a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with eligibility or benefits administration systems preferred​​​​​​​
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of document management and scanning tools
