Client Liaison

About the Role

MagnaCare is seeking detail-oriented and client-focused Client Liaisons to serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, claims processing, and issue resolution. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to ensure client satisfaction and efficient escalations management. This position is office-based and requires work to be performed on-site. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as primary contact for day-to-day transactions.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries, both written and verbal.
  • Document all client interactions in the internal tracking system.
  • Process complex claims, including professional, facility, and ancillary.
  • Investigate client inquiries related to claim payments and pricing.
  • Apply medical policies, contractual provisions, and operational procedures to ensure accurate claims adjudication and adjustments.
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify root causes of client payment issues.
  • Identify negotiation solutions and resolve conflicts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to provide backup support across various departments and roles as needed.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims management.
  • Minimum 1 year of claims adjudication experience, with expertise in processing professional, facility, and ancillary claims.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare customer service and claims processing procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and collaborate as a team player.
  • High computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims-processing systems.
  • Prior experience serving unions is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
